The Farm Dog

We would like to introduce you to Arrow, the newest four legged member of our family.

He likes coffee.

He is a tri-color Border Collie, bred by a Minnesotan married to an Irishman living in Hanmer Springs, NZ. When not sleeping, he loves chewing furniture legs, shoes, and Christmas ornaments.

We can already see his Border Collie-ness: sitting and looking at us when unsure what to do next, lying motionless when everyone is in the “right place”, and roaming without running away. He is delightfully calm and confident, enjoying new experiences without exhibiting any signs of anxiety thus far: Ranger rides, cows, cars in a parking lot, a lawnmower, other dogs walking by, and the waves at the beach. Hopefully potty training comes quickly.
